Karina is the editorial advisor at CLARIN. She is currently creating and promoting a portfolio of ‘impact stories’, aimed at showcasing the way in which the CLARIN infrastructure is used by researchers in the social sciences and (digital) humanities.

Karina has a background in literary studies (PhD, University of Leeds, UK) and worked as a lecturer in German Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, before relocating to the Netherlands in 2021. Previous to her academic career, she worked as a journalist in London for a variety of newspapers and magazines.
