Jurgita works at the Department of Lithuanian Studies at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania, where she serves as a chair of an international joint-degree master programme, Sociolinguistics and Multilingualism. She is affiliated with the Institute of Digital Resources and Interdisciplinary Research (SITTI). Her research interests include Translation Studies and Corpus Linguistics. She is also interested in building language resources for research and pedagogical applications. Since 2016, she has been working as the National Coordinator for the CLARIN-LT consortium. One of her goals is to integrate CLARIN-related content into the curricula of our study programmes and to enhance awareness of the infrastructural services in Lithuanian language research and teaching communities. In 2022, our joint work with colleagues “Lithuanian Collocations: Usage, Teaching, Learning, and Translation” was recognized with the Teaching with CLARIN Award.
