Bazaar @ CLARIN2021

The CLARIN Bazaar

The CLARIN Bazaar is an informal space at the CLARIN Annual Conference where you can meet people from other centres and countries, find out about their work in progress, exchange ideas, and talk to people about future collaborations. The Bazaar will provide an informal setting for conversations with CLARIN people, and space to show your work to colleagues and virtually share relevant material.

What's the difference between a stall at the bazaar and a paper presentation?

Presentations that are based on peer-reviewed extended abstracts, are intended for reporting significant CLARIN-related work which has been completed, or in which substantial progress has been made. Bazaar places can be used for work in progress, sharing experiences, ideas and visions, planning, and for demonstrating smaller outputs of CLARIN work. A place in the Bazaar is not a formal presentation, and submissions are not formally peer-reviewed, though checked for eligibility.

Eligibility for Bazaar stall registration

Registration for the Bazaar is open for conference attendants (e.g. authors of an accepted paper, members of a national consortium, representatives from a partner organization) and the wider audience. All submissions (a title and a description of max 250 words) will be checked for their relevance to the CLARIN audience.

Bazaar format

The Bazaar session will be virtual, like all the programme elements of the CLARIN Annual Conference 2021. More details will follow, but feel free to come up with creative suggestions that can be considered and potentially implemented by the organising team.
